8 White Team Rules

RULES:

Do not go to your cubicle between classes.

Do not leave the team without a pass.

Do not return to the team between specials and activities.

No gum, candy, spray perfumes, etc.

CELL PHONES, IPODS, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES:

Bring at your own risk.

Devices must be turned off during the school day.

Devices must not be visible during the school day.

LAVS:

You must sign out with your teacher's permission.

During the 1st class of the day and the class after lunch, emergency lavs only

HOMEROOM:

7:45 - Be in your seat with all of your materials ready for the morning classes

During and after announcements, you must be SILENT.

IF ABSENT:

Check the Community Portal and/or Homework Hotline (585-4300 press 9).

If absent 2+ days, call in morning (585-4354) to let us know when you will return and who should bring home your books and papers.

Bring note to homeroom teacher when you return to school.

IF TARDY:

First stop in the office and give them a note from home explaining why you were late. Let your homeroom teacher know that you are here.

LUNCH:

No visiting from table to table, clean up area, wait to be dismissed by table.

BUSSES:

Always sit down in YOUR bus room. If you are going home on a different bus, wait until 7th grade is called and then put up your chair and go to that bus room. You always leave with YOUR team. For permission to go on a different bus, you need a note from home signed by the principal. If you are going home on a different bus with a friend from a different team, you still exit from OUR TEAM. Meet your friend at the bus.

If you are staying after school, you still wait in YOUR bus room. When we leave the team, just follow Ms. Johnson's students to the cafeteria or auditorium where you will wait for your adult advisor. No one will be permitted to leave early unless Mr. Elia informs us.

LIBRARY:

You may obtain a pass from your homeroom teacher in the morning or from a teacher for whom you are doing a project.
