Welcome to Team 7 Blue
"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."
Be prepared for class. Bring a writing utensil to every class, every day. Bring texts and notebooks. Have work stapled and your heading already on it when you enter class.
Ask permission and sign out each time you use the lavatory or get a drink. At lunch, you must ask permission for the lavatory and take a pass. Please do not use the lavatory on your way to and from class without permission.
"There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million."
Your books and other supplies must be stored in your cubby, not on top of cubbies or coat racks.
Book drops occur only before homeroom and after specials. Students should carry books for three classes at a time. You should not be exchanging books other times.
"The task ahead of you is never as great as the strength within you."
You must be in your own homeroom and seated by 7:43.
Sit silently to listen to morning announcements.
"Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere."
Please follow the dress code.
Walk through the hallways quietly and orderly. You don't have to be silent, but respectfully quiet.
"Education is not filling a pail but the lighting of a fire"
Come to school! We miss you when you're not with us. If you are truly sick and cannot attend school, you have several options to keep your work caught up. Please remember that it is your responsibility to be up-to-date with work:
Check homework hotline (585-8202)
Check Mrs. Frank's website or go onto the Parent Portal of Sapphire. The website lists work for one week. You may want to print yourself a copy of the assignments listed on the homework page.
Call or text a friend from class.
If you are out for more than one day, call Mrs. Petry and have a parent pick up your books. You must leave your name sticker on your cubby in order for Mrs. Petry to find your books.
Check with your teachers when you return to school. Hand in work you made up and ask to take any tests or quizzes you may have missed.
Vacation forms are required for one or more days requested off from school.
Please be respectful to all classmates, adults and staff at our middle school
