5^th Grade Discipline policy

Rules:

1.        Come to class with books, paper, pencil, homework, and assignment sheet/book.

2.        Raise your hand and wait to be called on.

3.        Respect others and their property by keeping your hands and feet to yourself.

a.             no pushing or shoving, even just “joking around”

b.            no physical contact

4.        Follow all directions the first time given.  Be respectful and responsible.

Rewards

Students earn points each day.  The points are added from both teams with a goal of 5,000 points. Grade wide rewards will be given.  A few examples are an extra recess, a movie, a no homework night, etc.

Consequences

1^st infraction                 warning

2^nd infraction                 loss of recess

3^rd infraction                 letter to parents

4^th infraction                 detention

5^th infraction                 sent to office

Each student starts with a clean slate each day.

*For a severe infraction, students will automatically be sent to the office.
