Planning
A Class Web site can help you consolidate resources and share ideas. With the wonderful Web authoring tools available these days, possibly the hardest part of creating a personal or class Web page is figuring out what to put on it! Below are some ideas of what can be included on your class site.

In our next activity, we'll consider the content of your Web site. By the time we finish, you'll have a better idea of what your Web site will include.
Design
Page Design Checklist
- Establish a meaningful page title
- Place the most important information near the top.
- All pages should be readable and easy to navigate
- Choose colors and backgrounds carefully. Use contrast for easy reading. (remember links are usually blue or violet, avoid these colors for text that is not a link.)
- Use common fonts(Helvetica, Arial, Times New Roman, Garamond, Comic Sans)
- Use at least 12-14 point font size. Vary font size to organize Info.
- Have a purpose for images.
- Use representative language for links: not "click here" or URL's.
- Include a footer that contains: (name of site, creation and revision date, author, e-mail address, and URL)
- Spell Check.
- View your web page in both browsers.
- Keep information up-to-date
